Bloom Online
Are you a successful and talented florist looking to showcase your skills online, but not sure where to start? Perhaps you feel like your social media and website don't accurately reflect your unique style and approach to floral design. Or maybe you're struggling to create a consistent visual identity for your business.
It’s very common to face these challenges, and I can help you to identify areas of opportunity and offer guidance and support on how to achieve your goals.
With over 15 years of experience working in SEO, content marketing, social media, visual branding, and the floral industry, I've learned that all businesses (large and small) share a lot of the same pain points when it comes to managing their online presence.
In today's world, your website and social media presence are the new shop window, and your online presence is essential to the success of your floral business. It's important to have a consistent, recognisable brand that reflects your unique style and approach to floral design.
As someone who understands both worlds – floristry and content marketing – intricately, I can help you create a cohesive and compelling online presence that sets you apart from the competition and attracts your ideal clients.
Let's work together to make your floral business bloom!
Kally Ellis, Founder of McQueens Flowers
“Selina is a rare combination of skills: naturally, there’s a passion for flowers, a real depth of knowledge, and excellent floral techniques, but she also has a finely honed talent for marketing and communications. In our world of flowers, that is quite unique.”
How it works
Step 1: Personal consultation
To get started, we'll schedule a one-on-one consultation via phone or video call. During this conversation, I'll ask you some questions to understand your specific needs and determine how I can best support your business. The consultation typically lasts around 45 minutes, and to secure your booking, a deposit of £50 is required. Don't worry, though – this amount is redeemable against the total cost of your quote.
Step 2: Evaluation and quote
After our consultation, I'll evaluate your website, social media channels, marketing emails, and any other relevant content marketing materials. Based on my assessment, I'll provide you with a customised proposal outlining the areas where I can offer the most support and guidance. This proposal will include a detailed timeframe and quote for your consideration.
Step 3: Confirmation and booking
Once we've agreed on the scope of work and timeline, we'll finalise our partnership and get started! Together, we'll work through each step of the action plan until we achieve the goals we set out to accomplish.

Bridging Two Worlds: My Career as a Florist and Content Marketing Expert
I adore nature and have always been creative. I grew up between the Swiss Alps and the English countryside, surrounded by fields and wild blooms. As a child, if I wasn’t outside creating lotions and potions with herbs and flowers, I was inside drawing and making.
I went on to study fine art, design, and illustration at university and developed a career in marketing by sheer chance, thanks to a brief stint as a part-time copywriter with a small tech start-up.
This opened a whole new world for me, and I quickly progressed from copywriting into a career in SEO and content marketing.
I worked between London and Berlin and spent several years passionately leading a team of content marketers for one of the largest online homeware companies in Europe.
But I felt like something was missing.
I decided it was time to change track, I enrolled in a college course, retrained as a florist, and began to fulfill that part of me that had always been there; a love of nature and the desire to create.
I was fortunate enough to land my first floristry job with an internationally renowned luxury London florist, where I trained and learned first-hand from the seasoned floral masters around me.
Here I developed my style, skills, and a deep passion for floral design.
As a luxury weddings and events florist, I had the fortune to work in some of London’s most prestigious venues, including The Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park, The Dorchester, and the iconic Claridge’s Hotel.
Time and time again, however, I would find myself being drawn back to the world of marketing within the floral industry.
Through working and talking with countless florists over the years, many of whom had been honing their craft from a young age, I came to understand how complicated and overwhelming content marketing can feel and often found myself helping and giving advice to those who were struggling with it.
During the pandemic, when weddings and events came to a standstill, I became the Content Manager for McQueens Flowers, leading their marketing campaigns, producing, and styling seasonal product shoots, and running their global social media accounts.
I loved it and for the first time, I realised I didn’t have to choose between both worlds anymore.
Today, I am a passionate, independent weddings and events florist and an expert consultant for others in the industry.
I bring my passion for floristry and creativity to every client I work with, and I love nothing more than helping fellow florists to showcase their true and authentic selves online, in a way that inspires and attracts the clients they deserve.
